When Kokkolan Energiaverkot Oy set out to develop Finland’s first LNG terminal outside the national gas transmission network, Jake was selected as the main contractor. Despite a demanding schedule and a technically challenging project, the terminal was completed on time thanks to strong project management and proactive collaboration.

The LNG terminal at Kokkola Industrial Park is a unique and technically complex industrial facility that stores liquefied natural gas, vaporizes it, and distributes it to nearby industrial companies. As a result, the project placed exceptionally high demands on the foundation work and overall coordination. Jake was appointed as the main contractor with full responsibility for site work, foundations, and underground utility infrastructure for the new gas terminal.
In addition to demanding earthworks and heavy concrete foundations, the project included extensive equipment deliveries, each with its own specific schedule. Jake’s role was to coordinate and synchronize all these moving parts into a fully functioning whole.
